Bob
Fosse left
Hollywood after
performing in a
few films in the
early 50’s to
choreograph
Broadway’s “The
Pajama Game”
(for which he
won the first of
his 9 Tony
Awards):
He was lured
back to
Hollywood for
the 1955 movie
musical version
of “My Sister
Eileen.”
The
high point of
that film was
“The Alley
Dance,”
choreographed by
Fosse for him
and dancer
extraordinaire
Tommy Rall.
We'll
show you more
Fosse/Rall
dancing in a
moment,
but, first, take
a look at what
we’re featuring
from our website
