Bob
Fosse left Hollywood after performing in a
few films in the early 50’s to choreograph
Broadway’s “The Pajama Game” (for which he
won the first of his 9 Tony Awards):
He was lured back to Hollywood for the
1955 movie musical version of “My Sister
Eileen.”
The
high point of that film was “The Alley
Dance,” choreographed by Fosse for him and
dancer extraordinaire Tommy Rall.
